6 HOUR PRESCRIBED COURSE PACKAGE
Course Description: Why do you need 6 Hour SST Prescribed Courses Package? In accordance with Local Law 196 of 2017 all supervisors on job sites in NYC that require a Site Safety Superintendent are now required to obtain a supervisor Site Safety Training (SST) Card. In order to qualify for the Supervisor SST Card individuals must complete a total of 62 hours of training approved by the NYC Department of Buildings.
NYC DOB does allow for supervisors to use some DOB approved training courses to count towards their supervisor SST card called course equivalents. This package includes SST training courses that are required to obtain a Supervisor SST card but do not have any course equivalents. SST safety courses are as follows:
